Just dreaming ... if I could have one made to my tastes it'd be a a .338 but set up as a #1H with a 24" heavy barrel and iron sights instead of the #1B or #1S setup. A #1A in .25-35, .30-30, or .30-40 would also be pretty intriguing. I'd like to see Ruger offer the .45-70 in a #1H configuration.

I wish they'd reintroduce the #1V in .300 Win Mag. I had one I bought used years ago. Didn't take much time to figure out why it was for sale, as the barrel heated, the groups would shift vertically up to about 8 MOA ... first shot hit point of aim, 2nd shot up 2 MOA, 3rd shot an additional 1.5 MOA, etc 'til it stopped getting hotter each shot. Any point where the barrel temp stabilized, it'd shoot real small groups, but when does that happen except at the range or on first shots? Eventually I traded it.
