I am not a big Sierra fan, but some of the the local gun nuts here all use the 250 gr. Sierra in their .375s for elk, and they always show me those pretty little mushroomed bullets, I have seen so many of them now that I am convienced they are an excellent elk bullet at around 2800 or so FPS. Never used them but I am tempted. They sure are accurate in my gun..but I would not choose them in the thick nasty dark timber swamps where the big bulls hide..I will stick with my 300 gr. Woodleigh in my .338 for that or my 350 gr. Woodleighs in my 375, cause I have to shoot them up the keyster, never get any other shot it seems.
