She prolly isnt gonna like the recoil of the 270,I started a girlfriend years ago with a gun a bit big for a newbie and it ended as quick as it started after the 2nd shot she was done and wanted no more,if it were me Id start her with a 243 until she got broke in to it then graduate her up accordingly..........
