I'll tell you what sucks, Ingwe. Let a guy try and afford a sheep slam today: Stone and Bighorn hunts are around $30 grand each. In Mexico, a desert ram will set you back at least $50 thousand. Relatively speaking, you can hunt a Dall real cheap at around $10-12 thousand.

I got drawn in Nevada for the desert and, just last year, in Wyoming for a bighorn. In 1991, I paid $6500 for a dall/caribou combo in the NWT. And in '93, it was $8k for a Stone/moose combo in B.C., if I remember right.

Here is my bighorn. I will try and get around to scanning the old 35mm photos of the other three.
