There are several reasons to begin your sighting in at 25 yards:
1. To get on the paper, centered up and good elevation
2. Easy to check your rifle quickly after travel.
3. Easy to verify with a bore sighting tool or laser
4. Works great for .22 LR hunting rifles
5. If someone is not a really good shot, or doesn't know how well the rifle or ammunition shoots, it saves them time and ammunition to start at 25 yards.


What about .22 Magnums, .17 HM2's, and .17 HMR's? Will it work for those, or just .22 LR's?
