Wrong, Becker, the family friend's rifle was the 7 mag. Sarah's dad brought the "varmint rifle", so it wouldn't kick Sarah as hard. I still say it was a .243 Winchester old Model 70 push feed. And yes, Becker's rifle was a Savage. Probably why it only took one shot with that Redfield Revolution scope, and the family friend seemed to definitely know his way around the tundra.
