I shoot a 6.5x55 and have had very good luck with the 120 grn TSX. This over a book max. load of RL-19 for just under 3000fps.
Put a 250# mule deer on the ground after 3 steps. Lots of internal damage. Have yet to try the 125 grn Nosler Partition. Really a lot of fun at the range to shoot this T3 Tikka. Very accurate and light recoil makes this a joy to shoot. My son's neighbor is from South Africa and he says they are very popular in hunting antelope up to and including 500lbs.
