TFF! Are we gonna do two this Spring? LOL
FWIW, the end of March would work for me.

We have been hammered by one blizzard after another here in Southern Alberta. Four in as many weeks, and this is supposed to be the Banana Belt of Alberta. We finally had a Chinook last week then the bottom fell out of the thermometer along with a foot of white stuff.
Can't wait to see how the fishing is this year on the Bow and Crowsnest this year though. Prairie pothole trout fishing should be kickin too.

You probably do not live far from the Blackfeet Rz in Montana. There is some really great lake fishing there. Check out Mission Lake. Some monsters in there.

Have to make it to the Bow, Old Man and Crow this year

I haven't fished down there......yet. Have heard interesting things though. Sounds similar to the fishing in Bullshead Res.located just outside the "Hat. Big rainbows that can be darn fussy. While I love fishing the Oldman and Crow, some of my favourite fishing is along the Forestry Trunk Road. Lots of headwaters fishing for miles and miles, basically from the Crowsnest Pass running north to the Berland River north of Hinton. For a quick fix close to home but much like the mountain creeks, I hit the tiny creeks in the Cypress Hills for solitude in under an hour.
For some reason I am not hooked on the Bow. I prefer to walk/wade than float. The Bow is better suited to floating though there are a couple spots on the lower river that are perfect for wading just before the confluence of the Bow and Oldman. That far down you can get an interesting mix of fish!
