Well it's NOT a 243.
Seriously, I have HAD so many 'dream' rifles and some were 'nightmares'.
I NO LONGER dream or long for some particular rifle. The 'closest' I come is; I would really LIKE a .284 Win. It's the cartridge, rebated rim, short/fat thing, not any particular brand of rifle.
To qualify, I'm 63 y/o and have been at this a long time. I've HAD so many rifles and ALL the cartridges I'm interested in EXCEPT the 284 W. It's unique to me.
PS: I am very happy to have the rifles/cartridges that I do and they meet ANY need I'm likely to encounter.
