I've thought about it and think I could be very happy with the new Forbes 24 in stainless steel in a .280 Remington. I had a 280 for many years that shot great, but like the typical Rifle Looney ....sold it. Thinking a nice 2x8 x 36 or a 2.5 x 10 x 40. That rifle would easily handle 99% of my big game hunting. But....a guy would also want a nice 223 or 22-250.......but I simply know I would want many more.
