My problem was the 4200s (and 3200s), went below 'safe' er lengths at the higher range. Could I adapt? Probably, but its not good for my teenager, training prone on a 308, to have to get bit OR climb up and down a stock with cheek pos, just to get er, when it varies over an inch, between power ranges. Note that we're talking 'advertised' er vs measured/real er. I think Bushnell inflates, a lot.
