I thought it would be nice to provide an update after so many folks praying for him, Vicky, and all involved. The staff and Vicky's husband [great guy BTW] told me they are "sewing in the kidney" and all is going well...about 30 minutes ago. We should be hearing more soon. This surgery is much less involved than what we thought they would do so there should be a shorter recovery time.
