Most of congress has stock in Pharma companies. I have about 60% of my retirement account in Pharma and Med industry. Depends on how much market movement you want. Swings in Pharma stocks aren't what they used to be, as drugs become more specialized its pretty easy to "calculate" the size of the market and the yearly sales, thus the stock dividends. The stocks are priced accordingly and show "stability" as compared to something like the tech industry. But are priced at too high of a price to see large 'growth" That is why they are liked for retirement funds, (less speculation") and meet the requirements for such groups as pensions. It's hard for Pharma to make money with todays lowyer elites, concerning normal drugs and meds. OTOH, Sen Kennedy fixed things years ago so vaccines arent so financially liable as meds. Most people have trouble accepting than a consortium of the top 15 or 20 wealthiest of people on this earth may be able to control more than what the masses believe, which is why Rush finally admitted that Trump is fighting the most powerful people on earth, who have people like the Clinton's and Zeros as their foot soldiers. He finally admitted that Trump has one shot only at taking the real elites down and better make it good. Yes, if Trump misses it seems their plan is to reduce the Earths population by 80%. Yep, if Trump fails in his and Mil Intels plan, folks will take whatever shots they say, whether it be lead or poison. Afaic, even the atheists best pray for Trump.

I've never had a flu shot and intend to keep it that way.
Me either but decided that I don't want to be responsible for killing off some senior or immune compromised person, so I'll do it. Sometimes, it isn't just "all about me."

I don’t think it’s early enough to know that answer but
If it is only dangerous for the old and the compromised why not take the chance and build up natural immunity if you’re not in that group?
Is smallpox and polio really a fair comparison when they cause serious issues for everyone including children?
Did the Spanish flu end because of a vaccine?
I’d want answers to those questions first.

I had a flue shot last fall and 5 days later I was more sick than I'd been in years. Lasted 6 weeks.
Never getting any other preventative shot (excepting tetanus) as long as I live, period. I’m with you the war department bitched enough I got one in 2005. I got so sick a couple of months later if they give me another it’ll be to a corpse

It's a virus and I suspect it'll mutate by next year as the flu virus does, every year and a slightly different vaccine will be needed..
I'll be curious to see how things go with our, new Normal.
