While out door knocking, a very attractive and well-spoken business owner lady I called on told me it's the social issues with many of the Obama voters. They know he's terrible on the economy and most everything else, but are afraid Romney would interfere with issues like abortion and gay marriage. Obama's liar brigade did a good job scaring voters away from a man who was perfect for our fixing our problems and many would rather see America destroyed than risk losing the opportunity to be wantonly immoral. I have to agree. Bill Clinton once said "It's the economy stupid", well the economy has never been worse in my lifetime than it has been over the last 4 years. But do we elect someone who might could turn the economy around? No! We vote in an idiot that has already shown that he can't handle it. Why? So women can keep their rights to kill unborn babies, men can marry men and people expect the government to just give them whatever they need and want without having to work. We have hit rock bottom on the morality scale. We no longer look to the Bible for guidance or respect our roots which are grounded in Jude--christian values. It's not the economy stupid its abortion rights and homosexual marriage. Well said. Who'd of thought we'd see the day when enough people believed in a sodomite right to marriage that it would matter in a national election. Hell, we may as well start eating those unborn babies. What could possibly be wrong with it.

I'm pretty sure major defense contractors are going to cut spending because they believe sequestration will happen.
We've already cut our forecast and have our 2013 projections flat because of this.

You can moan and complain all you like.
Conservative politics in the USA has become polarised over the last four years and moved slightly off target to the political right. This is clearly on the nose with voters.
The voters who gave a damn and got off their arses and voted made their choice. Those that didn't vote couldn't care less. Having Romney as an opponent was not a good choice and he clearly had no idea what the majority of americans wanted.
Hence, the democratic process rolled on to its inevitable conclusion.
