I'm always trying to build ones that are not quite the norm. Not to far off base, but never-the-less, different. Such as a few years back I rebarreled a Kimber Montana to 17 Rem. because they didn't offer a Montana in that caliber and its what I wanted.
This year I'm doing a couple of builds. The first one is a Kimber Classic that is being rebarreled to 243. It's a Classic in 7mm08 that shop quite well, but I have another one in that caliber and nothing in 243. Lilja chrome moly barrel using the 84M contour and blued to match the action. While its down everything will be trued up if needed.
The second one is a Kimber Classic Select in 7mm08 that I am restocking in English Walnut. This one is going to take awhile to finish. The inletting is almost finished.








Not quite as nice as some of the others I've seen in this thread, but it is different.....kind of.
