my first .22 was a model 572 pump, fieldmaster. it would do it all then, and still will. shoots shorts, longs & long rifle interchangeably and without a hiccup.
also enjoy my Erma - Iver Johnson .22 semi-auto made in Germany.
but overall i like the Browning semi-autos. i have a Norinco clone of the Browning. i think i would like the Browning even better. light, easy to load, point and shoot.
but for an adult sized gun, the CZ base case is hard to beat. that'd be any of them.
