That depends on how well the truck is tuned. A rough idling truck is definitely an impediment to accuracy, but so is having a lardass passenger squirming around while you're trying to squeeze off a shot.


Any road hunter worth a damn will make the shot regardless of motor, make, model, or year.

I blew the pizz out of my drivers side mirror on my '79 CJ-5 trying to whack a nice rooster pheasant with my Remington M34 many, many years ago.
