Agree with you on the binocuar thing. You seem to have a voice of reason, unlike some others here, so I'll ask you a question (asked dc223 earlier but got no response):

I'm not in the market for a riflescope, but let's assume I am. Take the Toric 3-15x42 w/plex reticle. What precisely would hinder me from taking big game out to 330 yds, like I've done on probably 95% of the big game animals I've shot at?
