I was very careful to leave a lot of that rich sweet meat close to the bone on it. Normally I will use it in a big pot of pinto beans, cook up a skillet of cornbread and feast on it. My wife though is not a fan of pinto beans prefering butterbeans. That's ok too, but not my favorite. I also saved a pound or so of ham scraps from the carving that would make a good ham salad if not put to a more interesting better use. What to do?


My biggest fear is when I die my wife will sell my guns for what I told her they cost....
