Pistol cartridge carbines generally provide pistol cartridge ballistics, but shooter has an easier time shooting accurately............which is a big deal, and justification for the platform IMO.
Compared to an AR in 5.56 or 300 Blk? No.
My 6 year old can shoot a 5.56 AR.
