Par boil - as in boil in water with onions ?

BrentD was right on. I piece mine up, put them in a sandwich bag, fill it full of water and freeze it.
Tastes like fresh.

When Im ready to cook I parboil the pieces with a little onion for about 5-6 minutes, roll in flour, S&P and pan fry in butter.....medium heat till golden brown. Make gravy out of the junk left in the pan if you like...
