Pointer, January is a good time frame for me...gotta give this some SERIOUS thought...I have kin just up the road in Michigan and I could kill two birds with one stone.....
I actually prefer that time of year for squirrels, especially with a .22, as the leaves are off and they are much easier to see/hear. Just let me know! FWIW, it'll take at least 5hrs to get the southern part of MI from there...
