If I had ONE Winchester Model 70, it would be the Featherweight in 6.5x55 Swede.
Since you already have one in .270 Win., the quintessential Winchester cartridge...you're fixed there.

I don't know what your rifle brand of preference is, but in the 7mm-08 Remington, I'd look for a Model Seven in that cartridge.
Nice, short rifle in a nice, short cartridge with the slight ballistic and less-recoil advantages of a .284 vs. a .30.
Maybe even a lever-action Browning in that chambering...for something 'different'.
