I recently started using 165 grain Accubonds in my .308 and I have been pleased so far. I have some 150 grain Barnes TTSX but I have not shot a deer with one yet.
I had been using 150 grain Nosler Ballistic Tips out of my .30-06. I was not satisfied with the penetration so I switched to 165 grain Ballistic Tips in my .308 and .30-06. After a couple bad experiences, I decided that I was done with Ballistic Tips and I switched to the Accubonds.
