I don't see SST mentioned much, but when we deer hunt we must be loaded sufficiently for 300 lb. Russian hybrid hogs and all these loads properly placed work fine for either species. The .270 with the old fashioned 150 gr. Win. power pts. seem to be the most deadly and my old Ruger 77 .270W only produces about 2750fps with a slight over max of IMR 7828.
