I don't concern myself with choosing a particular deer bullet. Deer are fairly easy to kill, so I use standard cup and core bullets of medium weight for the most part. I just avoid heavy "hard" bullets more suited to elk and moose and light fragile varmint types.

so 100-120's in .257, 140-160's in 7mm, 165's in .308, mostly i've used Hornady Interlock and Speer Hot Cor and Sierra Pro Hunters and Nosler BT.

I'm much more particular about elk and moose and bear bullets, which tend to be a little heavier & bigger caliber, and almost always bonded, or partitions, or all copper.
