I rarely pass up a legal deer when a good shot is presented. This deer was taken with one shot at about 75 yards or so in heavy cover. I typically hunt with 150 grain core-lokt ammo although 170 grain Power Point ammo is quite accurate and effective, too. The exit hole is clearly visible where it smashed through the chest organs and broke the front leg.

30-30 is a keeper!
