I have a meostar r1 3-12x56 and it is the brightest scope I've owned. I've never compared to Leica so I can't say about it by it beats the Swarovski z5, zeiss hd5, kahles, nightforce that I've owned.
It's alittle big and heavy but it's bright!!!
