Then in a less clear reference Wikipedia gave muzzle velocities thusly:

AP = 2,300 F.P.S.
HC = 2,635 F.P.S.

I am guessing the "AP" above is in reference to an "armor piercing" projectile?
I don't know what the "HC" refers to.
