Yondering, when I'm jackassing around training [yeah, I know, funny] here at the farm, as soon as the heel of my left hand slams a fresh mag home my right thumb hits the slide release, having to slam a mag in, then grab the back of the slide to chamber, then re grip the pistol would seem to me like wasting a chit-ton of time, plus, I've hit slide releases so often for so long, don't know if I could train past that.
It's the only way I've ever ran my 1911's too.
