Given the outstanding choices we have today, it's quite difficult for me to not choose mono, partitioned, or bonded bullets vs. standard cup/core. You can pretty much match BC and/or penetration offered by C/C while almost totally eliminating the opportunity for Kersplosions that don't get to the vitals.
