I looked down on 308’s until bought a Savage Hog Hunter to use with a suppressor. I loaded the 150 GameKings, was amazed at how well the little toy Savage shot, how little recoil it had, how well the 308 killed pigs. I have since changed my opinion. I find myself grabbing that rifle to use. All my Sakos, Kleinguenthers, 700’s, custom rifles are getting pissed off cause they are sitting in the safe. I bought a 99 in 308 too. It is a ton of fun to shoot also.
