My BIL has used his Mod 742/150 Sierra GK for almost 50 yrs on Texas deer/hogs. when I lived there, and loaded for other guy's 30-06s, I used the Hornady 150 ST, wicked! I only killed one deer with a 308 and it was with factory 150 corlokts. I later used the 165 NBT on an axis. My buddy out here also has right at 50yrs with a Browning BLR .308, also with 150 Corlokts, on everything, including bison! I don't care for/use a lot of Federal brass, but when I want to test/sight in a rifle, I also grab the Blue Box! Very good value and well balanced loads. Out here, hunters use them or the Fusion line as much or more than Winchester/Remington factory loads. Federal Premiums? Almost always worth the extra money too. Just that dang Federal brass can be so soft for hot loads or if one wants a lot of reloads from one case. An example of one picky guy! smile
