Late 70’s early 80’s I had a 2 3/4” 1100 that I had cut down and threaded for a choke tube. I think it was around 21”. I killed a bunch of turkeys and ducks with it. Then I read in a magazine that you had to have a 3” magnum to kill turkeys 🙄 and traded it. Wish I had it back.
I’ve gone through all sorts of brands and actions since those days. I’m using a Franchi Affinity 20ga with TSS now and it’s my all time favorite, even over the old 1100. It’s light, doesn’t hurt to pull the trigger and shoots great.
