Still contemplating whether to camo the butt stock and forearm.
Get all the metal graphite black cerracoated.

Or just VHD caliper paint the stock set satin black and cook it at 200° for 60 mins and get the metal done graphite black.

Or VHD the metal minus the mag tube and pump/ action bars.
Have ta make a cardboard and alum foil cooking oven for the metal parts.
Rig up a electric space heater for heat and get a inexpensive temp gauge.

Wont fit in the oven like the stock set.

Tip....

When cooking gun parts with VHD caliper paint in the ole lady's oven.
Always cook a pizza in it afterwards to hide any slight residue of smell before she gets home from work.

LOL!!!

Changed my mind numerous times on what to do.

Well after 47( lol) tries at spray painting the stock and getting the receiver and barrel graphite black cerracoated.

I came up with the whack a mole toothbrush camo technique.
Posted up buncha pics on the gen forum from it all.

Lots of trial and error spray painting a syn stock for my 1st 3 attempts.

After:

Overcast .
It shifts colors and tones and high lights in different light conditions.
Pretty happy with the Toothbrush whack a mole camo technique.

Probably how I will do it again if needed.
This season will be a test run on just how durable it is.

Why did you change it? I like what you did. But, it actually looked pretty good before.

Camp is where you make it.
