It probably depends on where you live. Our governor in Alabama of all places threatens fines and even jail time if no mask etc. I will let people in for certain things like euthanasia or if I need to show diagnostics or I am just to damn tired to talk over traffic in the parking lot. I see things going back to normal after the end of the year.
