After the range session last Sunday it’s clear IMR-4831 is NOT going to be my 270/129LRX powder. I was getting just over 3200fps with 58.0 gr. but my 5 shot group measured 1.6”. However, 55.5gr of IMR-4350 and the LRX clocked 3165fps and had a 5 shot group of 0.89”! Close enough for me! Since RL26 is pretty much unobtainable and I have 2.5lbs of 4350, I’m satisfied with that load and another 35fps isn’t going to matter one bit! I may still try RL26 someday if things get back to sorta normal, but for now I’m good!!
