Yeah, RinB is right on the money. The .270 pushing 150 NP's @ 3000 from a 22"tube is very fine.
Chop the Weatherby, Wsm or the large capacity 7mm tube down to 22" and see what you get.
I guess we could of asked Old Warren Page that question. His Mashburn must of bean deafening.
