I am getting around 3200 fps in a 24" barrel and 61.5-62 grains R26 and I am probably too hot. Quickload says R26 is slower than R25 so the numbers will be off more than with properly calibrated powders in QL. The 3,300 fps range requires putting the pedal to the metal even with the WSM, R26 can do it but I don't think it is the best powder in the WSM. I am running R26 with the 140's at 3,200 fps. at a max of 69 gr. which I bet will be revised downward if they re-test these loads.

Nosler WSM data goes almost up to 3,400 fps but Barnes barely reaches 3,200 fps., which the 270 Winchester can and has been doing for a long time.
