For method of carry, I''d start strong side IWB, and go from there. I'd stay away from Serpa's. Yes they have effective retention, but it can be difficult to release from the draw.


I have 3-4 IWB holsters - all from good companies like Rosen, Desantis etc., - and just cannot get 'em to feel comfortable.. I'm sure it's just me - but I'm much happier with the OWB holsters I have from Rosen, Sparks, EPS and Kimber.. Especially nice are the ones with straps/snaps that are easily worn and removed w/o having to remove the belt.. The Mitch Rosen Express holster I have for my Ruger SR9C is probably the most comfortable unit I have - and it keeps that pistol nice and snug against the body..
