My choice is an individual thing. I can change daily. I usually carry a 45 ACP of one kind or another. The P220 for a year and a half. A 45 Colt as backup after my magazines are depleted. I sometimes get tired of the weight and use a lightweight model, thus another holster. A 5" isn't going in the 3" holster! And all that is after you get settled on THE ONE for carry.
