I think Donald Trump is a despicable human being but he's a better choice than any liberal. The trouble is, any candidate, for either party, has to be able to attract voters from the other side because the balance is too close. Trump was able to do that last time because the other side's candidate was repellent to many democrat voters. This time, though the candidate may seem repellent to us, he is not so to the democrat base. I had hoped that his choice of running mate might drag him down enough but that may not have been the case.
Looking at the western states, Wyoming is a shining light while New Mexico is a black hole. Also, WTF is up with Nevada?
It's not over yet and we can still hope for a positive outcome. GD
