Very interesting. A lot more movement than I would have thought.
Same dynamic as the Western mountains. Deep snow along lake superior drives the deer to wintering areas. Large areas of the UP will have zero deer during the deep snow months.
The wolf kill can be pretty bad in some wintering areas.
