I would get a doc to look at it. Bad knees are no fun, so don’t “hope it better.”
Two of my brothers younger than me have had both knees replaced. The first two weeks, the pain was pretty tough. The PT was not exactly a walk in the park, but several years later, they both say it’s the best thing they could have done, and knowing what they know, would not hesitate to have it done.
