VA and NC now have black conservative Lt Govs. That has to scare the dems that maybe their cash cow is awakening to realize how they have been used for the past nearly 60 years.
Even CNN last night said “the race card is dead and they need to stop using it.”
“They” being the Democrats, or “they” as in CNN. After all they are joined at the hip.
Both. With the election of Ms. Sears as Lt Governor, another fork has been stuck in the race card in VA. The lens of scrutiny has been on VA in that regard for a long time. I personally doubt it was a real factor, but believe some of the statements from Ms. Sears' opposition and anonymous critics motivated black voters to get behind her.
