Don't think I have ever harvested anything.
Never hear the term here.

I have picked and cut corn, cut and baled hay, we combined oats and
wheat. Killed a bunch of deer, cows, pigs, chickens and some turkeys.
Raised meat rabbits as a kid. Killed them too.

Harvest sounds citified and high falooten.
