Sucked but I had to change my habits long term. I have found I still can enjoy things like beer ribeyes and carbs so long as its in moderation. Moderation was not my strong suit. Once I got used to it the change was not too bad. But initially the thought of it was overwhelming. I spent 30 years on short term fixes reaching goals then going right back to the same habits that got me where I was in the first place. Just easier for me to maintain a long term healthier lifestyle that all that back and forth.
I want to continue to move in the same healthier direction. Do I get the call of the wild once in a while. Heck yes. I even answer it sometimes. But not making it a lifestyle.


Life can be rough on us dreamers.
