There is NO fur friendly 22-250 bullet
try a sierra 1365, I have shot 100's with a 1365, the guy I hunt with sometimes probably has over 500 kills with a 1365, if you want to shoot 40's try the sierra 1310, sierras have about twice the jacket thickness as a vmax. I also think a ballistic tip would work, they have a chunk of copper in the rear of the bullet that will punch through bone.
