My question is are you looking for a “fur friendly” bullet because you are serious about getting every penny you can for the hides? (Sewing holes, stretching, fleshing, drying, etc.) or are you just looking to keep holes minimal to have them tanned for yourself?
The market is crap either way right now, and if you want them for display any hole you can put in one (for the most part) can be repaired.
Load some up, shoot some dogs, and report back with your results.
