My favorite coyote bullet from a 22-250 is the nosler 50BT pushed as fast as I can get them…usually 3800fps or so. Usually pin prick going in, fully blow to pieces inside the coyote and a small exit where the solid base pokes through. I’ve used some 55BT too and the seemed to do the same thing but I’ve not used them enough to say for sure. I would guess that the 40BT would be the same as the 50. I’ve seen too many 22 and 6 mm v max blow huge holes in them on the entrance and stopped using them.
